BSA Troops need parent volunteers to survive and thrive. There are so many ways that parents can get involved with the troop, including serving as Troop Committee Members, Adult Leaders, and Merit Badge Counselors. Time commitments vary greatly, so don’t hesitate to ask if you can help out. Here are 4 easy steps to get started today and support your scout and their troop:
ADULT LEADER APPLICATION: https://filestore.scouting.org/filestore/pdf/524-501.pdf
YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINING (72 minutes): https://www.scouting.org/training/youth-protection/
MERIT BADGE COUNSELOR APPLICATION: https://filestore.scouting.org/filestore/pdf/34405.pdf
MERIT BADGE COUNSELOR TRAINING (34 minutes): https://www.bsacac.org/training/adult-required/scouts-bsa/merit-badge-counselor-training/
We are in need of registered Adult Leader supervision at both meetings and campouts/outings
We are need to fill troop committee positions and we need Merit Badge Counselors.
Please contact the Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmaster, or one of the Troop Committee members for more information on how you can help. The more the parents get involved, the more your girls will want to be involved with the troop.
