Merit Badge Blue Cards

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Scouts, please remember your Blue Card will be the final record to prove your Rank Advancement Records all the way to Eagle. Blue cards are the only physical record you will have to show that you have completed a merit badge. Be sure to have a completed blue card for every merit badge you are either working on or have completed. If for some reason our electronic record keeping system fails or if it does not show a particular merit badge completed, the blue card is the only way you have to get the record corrected in the system. You are highly encouraged to set up a loose leaf binder with baseball card style inserts to keep all of your partial and completed merit badge blue cards.

Remember that even though the completion of various parts of your Merit Badge may be documented in other places such as on your Troopmaster account, ultimately the final record and say are your Blue Cards.

We recommend for your safekeeping, a 3-ring binder with plastic baseball card holders. They are the perfect size. Remember the final record of your Merit Badge accomplishments for your Rank Advancement is these Blue Cards. Not electronic records. It is up to you as the Scout to maintain these records!

DO NOT LOSE YOUR BLUE CARDS.
